LGBT History for Beginners



On 30th January, to mark the imminent start of LGBT History Month, I gave my presentation, LGBT History for Beginners for Sutton LGBT Forum.

By the way. the Sutton LGBT Forum has set up displays for LGBT History Month in the following 5 Sutton Libraries:
Sutton Main - St Nicholas Way, Sutton, SM1 1EA
Sutton Life Centre - Alcorn Road, Sutton, SM3 9PX
North Cheam - Church Road, Cheam, Surrey, SM3 8QHWestcroft Centre - Westcroft Road, Carshalton, SM5 2TG
Worcester Park - Stone Place, Windsor Road, Worcester Park, KT4 8ES

There will be two displays: one on this year's Music theme which will change weekly and one static display on the services offered and work done by the Sutton LGBT Forum.

On 26th February from 7 pm at the Sutton Main Library,
Dr Louise Chambers will be presenting a talk, Oh, You Pretty Things!, on the manifestations and influence of sexuality in pop musics in the 1970s and 1980s. Free event.
